Precision Grade Scale
Precision Grade Grading Rules:
-
If card contains dings, creases, or dents (damage) of any sort the overall grade cannot be higher than 7.
-
Overall grades can only be 1 point higher than the lowest sub grade. (Example: sub grades of 10, 8, 9, 5 - will have an overall grade of 6)
-
If the lowest sub grade appears twice or more, then the overall grade can only be 0.5 higher then lowest subgrades. (Example: sub grades of 10, 9, 6, 6 - will have an overall grade of 6.5)

Off-Center (OC) Grading Policy
At Precision Grade, we only assign the “Off-Center (OC)” designation to trading cards with centering that falls outside our standard tolerance of 70/30 or worse.
-
Cards with centering better than 70/30 (for example, 65/35 or 60/40) are considered within acceptable limits and will be graded as “Normal”, without an OC qualifier.
-
Cards with centering of 70/30 or worse will receive the OC designation, indicating that the card’s centering falls below our standard threshold for normal alignment.
This policy ensures consistency and fairness across all grades while maintaining a clear distinction between cards with acceptable centering and those noticeably off-center.

Mis-Cut (MC) Grading Policy
At Precision Grade, we do not claim to be mis-cut (MC) grading experts. A card will only receive an MC designation if we can confidently validate it as a true factory mis-cut — meaning the cut clearly deviates from standard production and shows verifiable evidence of a manufacturing error. If a card cannot be confirmed as a genuine mis-cut, it will be graded under our standard criteria.

Autograph Authentication Policy
At Precision Grade, we prioritize transparency and integrity in our trading grading services. It is essential to note that we do not claim to be professional autograph authenticators. We will only authenticate a signature if we can find undeniable proof of authenticity or if the item is-packaged and authenticated by the trading card manufacturer. Otherwise the trading card will be graded as normal. We appreciate your understanding as we strive to maintain the highest in our grading processes.
